Crib Quilt/Doll Quilt Old Cambridge Pike

I recently saw this lovely doll quilt in an online auction.

It's perfect to remake in JellyRoll strips of my

Old Cambridge Pike line for Moda.

The fabrics look to be about 1860-1880s in the original,

the same era as the repro prints.

The pattern is what we call a Housetop, a log cabin with a single row of logs. The blocks alternate up and down and sideways. In other words the long logs are on the sides in every other block.

I figured it out for a crib quilt in EQ7 using 2-1/2" precut Jelly Roll strips and 5" Charm packs.

A - Cut 2 strips 2-1/2" x 8-1/2"

B - Cut 2 strips 2-1/2" x 4-1/2"

C - Cut 1 square 4-1/2"
