Nerves Frayed?
Feeling gloomy?
Maybe you need a new quilt project to start Tuesday.

Optimists may recall this quote by Martin Luther King during the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s:

"The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice."

King was paraphrasing minister Theodore Parker in an earlier but related fight for justice.

How about an Arc Bending Towards Justice to keep you calm?

Come out from behind the couch.

There are a couple of traditional patterns that might offer distraction.

Print this patttern out on an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of paper.
It's a 7-1/2" finished block because it has to fit on the paper.

You can find many variations of arc or bullseye patterns.
Here's a Laura Wheeler/Alice Brooks design from the 1930s
called Rainbow. You can also use this for a pattern.

Over at the Grandmother's Choice blog
we did a different Arc. LaVonna's top left.

Dorry made up her own

Of course you can always sew behind the sofa.

See more arcs arranged in circles:

But it may get crowded back there.
